Platform Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the Platform Software Engineering team responsible for research, market-making, and risk management platforms
• Design and scale core data infrastructure powering company platforms
• Collaborate closely with researchers developing price forecasting and grid optimization technology
• Perform hands-on senior IC work alongside people management duties
• Drive ownership over platform technology, team practices, and culture

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 2+ years of experience as an engineering manager
• Experience leading complex engineering projects with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in system architecture and coding
• Experience designing data systems using relational databases and cloud-based data warehouses
• Ability to mentor engineers of various seniority levels

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with machine learning concepts and technology
• Experience with Python, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or AWS
