Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute Data Platform and MLOps initiatives, driving technical decisions and ensuring alignment with business priorities
• Develop and implement infrastructure roadmaps and communicate progress to leadership
• Architect and implement scalable platform solutions for internal development and production deployments
• Establish and maintain infrastructure best practices balancing reliability, efficiency, security, and compliance
• Partner with product engineers and scientists to translate data and platform needs into actionable solutions
• Ensure infrastructure decisions align with security best practices and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in building software platforms, data engineering, or MLOps
• Track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP a plus)
• Proficiency with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
• Proven ability to architect and implement MLOps solutions in production
• Strong programming, scripting, and automation skills
• Strong communication skills for presenting technical concepts to stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Data Engineering tools like dbt and pipelines like Dagster
• Familiarity with compliance requirements in regulated industries like healthcare or life sciences
• Experience with MLFlow and Databricks
• Awareness of AI/ML infrastructure needs (e.g., NVIDIA Triton, Slurm, or Ray)
