Platform Engineer - Quality/SDET

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and maintain test automation frameworks and test suites with Playwright
• Collaborate with development, product, and customer-facing teams to define quality metrics and test strategies
• Identify gaps in test coverage and automate end-to-end testing across the platform
• Lead efforts to adopt best practices in software quality assurance and CI/CD
• Troubleshoot, reproduce, and document defects to drive quick resolutions
• Take ownership of overall platform quality to improve code health, performance, and reliability

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an SDET, Quality Engineer, or related software engineering role
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or similar programming languages
• Practical experience designing and implementing automated testing using Playwright
• Experience with automated testing tools, frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, PyTest), and CI/CD pipelines
• Proven track record of building and scaling automated testing in complex systems
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies and quality best practices
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in cloud-based or SaaS environments
• Knowledge of performance and security testing
• Enthusiasm for driving innovation in quality assurance and testing processes
