Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure across GCP’s ecosystem
• Collaborate with engineers to design performant APIs, databases, and backend systems
• Improve reliability and observability across the stack including monitoring, alerting, and logging
• Evolve CI/CD pipelines and developer environments to maximize shipping speed
• Empower the team to use AI tools effectively and safely
• Own system performance, uptime, and scalability
• Implement security best practices and respond to production incidents

Requirements

• 3–11 years of infrastructure or backend engineering experience
• Experience designing and managing serverless or event-driven systems at scale
• Strong understanding of CI/CD workflows and best practices
• Experience with observability systems like Sentry or GCP Cloud Logging
• Solid grasp of networking, security, and performance tuning
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js environments
• A builder’s mindset focused on automation and optimization
