Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect and scale a resilient compute platform using Terraform and cloud infrastructure
• Optimize infrastructure costs and performance to support 10x growth
• Own production reliability, including monitoring, alerting, and incident response
• Write production-quality code for both infrastructure and general software development
• Build internal tooling and automation to improve developer experience
• Establish infrastructure standards, security practices, and compliance (SOC 2)

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software development or platform engineering
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes
• Proficiency with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
• Ability to write production code in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or systems programming languages
• Experience managing on-call rotations and incident postmortems
• Strong understanding of security best practices and cost-efficient scaling

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with browser internals
• Proven track record of solving hard technical problems in distributed systems
