Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own AWS account architecture, Pulumi baseline, and deployment pipelines
• Stand up enterprise deployment models including single-tenant and in-VPC
• Set security baselines including SOC 2 controls, audit logging, and network isolation
• Establish developer experience standards including CI/CD, service templates, and observability
• Drive database strategy for Postgres performance and tenant isolation
• Manage production reliability, SLOs, and incident response

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and operating production cloud platforms
• Deep AWS fluency (VPCs, IAM, KMS, EKS/ECS, RDS)
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi preferred, or Terraform/CDK)
• Experience building developer platforms and CI/CD tooling
• Experience with enterprise authentication (SSO/SAML/SCIM) and SOC 2 compliance
• Ability to work in Rust or Python for systems-level tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale data infrastructure
• Background in high-stakes industries like finance
