Platform Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD integrations to turn commits into deployed internal applications
• Implement self-service tenant onboarding to remove manual provisioning toil
• Add runtime capabilities including secure secret injection and team-level access control
• Write and maintain Terraform for platform infrastructure on GCP
• Work with internal adopters to translate feedback into platform improvements
• Contribute to platform reliability, observability, and lifecycle governance

Requirements

• 3–5 years of full-stack engineering experience
• Strong command of Terraform for infrastructure-as-code
• Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI preferred)
• Backend experience in Node.js, Go, or Java
• Frontend proficiency in TypeScript and React
• Familiarity with cloud-native primitives like containers, managed databases, and IAM

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience building developer platforms or internal tooling
• Experience with multi-tenant access control or identity integration
• Exposure to AI-assisted development workflows
• Familiarity with GCP services such as Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, and Secret Manager
