Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Play a leading role in the design, development, and optimization of the Factory platform and its core services and internal systems
• Drive key areas including search and indexing systems, core infrastructure, integrations, authentication services, billing, and organization management
• Enhance developer experience by creating and refining internal tooling to streamline engineering workflows
• Work closely with AI researchers and engineers to ensure seamless integration between AI-driven components and foundational systems
• Drive adoption of best practices in code quality, security, and architecture design

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in full stack engineering roles
• Proven experience building complex, high-performance, and reliable systems
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
• Familiarity with software engineering tools and practices including Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of systems programming and experience working with large codebases

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing tools for software analysis
• Experience in domains like compilers or runtime systems
