Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own and operate backend systems integrating with 3rd-party providers
• Design robust integration frameworks to standardize external system connections
• Evolve shared libraries, templates, and workflows to reduce friction
• Partner with engineering teams to improve performance, scalability, and reliability
• Use AI-powered tools to accelerate development and solve technical challenges
• Design, build, and maintain secure, observable, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure
• Implement scalable CI/CD pipelines and drive adoption of IaC and SaaS best practices
• Ensure system resilience through monitoring, alerting, and automated recovery

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a high-performing engineering team
• Experience with backend services and integration patterns (REST, webhooks, message queues)
• Proficiency with typed languages
• Fluency in using AI tools like Cursor, Claude, or Copilot
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and IaC (Terraform)
• Ability to work in a modern cloud environment
