Platform Engineer, DevEx

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain internal tools, frameworks, and APIs to improve developer productivity and reduce cognitive load.
• Build and automate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps to ensure consistent and secure delivery.
• Collaborate with application development teams to simplify deployment, testing, and monitoring workflows.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code in .NET, Java, and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code solutions for large-scale, cloud-native platforms using Azure and Kubernetes.
• Champion software engineering best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, and observability.
• Partner with DevOps and development engineers to bridge the gap between infrastructure and application development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Platform Engineering or a similar role focused on automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong software engineering background with proficiency in .NET, Java, or TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, CDK, or Bicep.
• Experience developing APIs, SDKs, or developer-facing tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in highly regulated environments.
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as DataDog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and managing microservices at scale.
• Background in full-stack development.
