Platform Engineer-CI/CD

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and guide DevOps/SRE teams responsible for cloud infrastructure and platform services
• Architect, automate, and evolve multi-account AWS environments including VPC design, IAM governance, and networking
• Build and optimize infrastructure automation using IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK
• Design robust, resilient, and scalable CI/CD systems to support diverse microservice teams
• Manage and optimize databases including MySQL, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, and Aurora for performance and cost efficiency
• Establish best practices for observability, including metrics, logs, tracing, and alerting
• Partner with engineering leaders to scope and drive high-visibility infrastructure initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure roles managing production services at scale
• Deep expertise in AWS infrastructure (ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, VPC, IAM, S3, etc.)
• Proven experience designing and managing large multi-account AWS organizations
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals including VPCs, subnets, peering, and load balancing
• Mastery of infrastructure-as-code and automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK)
• Robust experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration (Docker, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud, network, compute, and application layers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing highly secure cloud environments with least-privilege IAM and compliance guardrails
• Hands-on knowledge of service meshes, API gateways, or high-scale microservices infrastructure
• Familiarity with Python, Go, or other scripting languages for automation and tooling
• Experience with observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry
• Prior work on infrastructure platforms supporting developer self-service
