Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize development infrastructure, including internal admin tooling, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines.
• Build and maintain core service infrastructure using Kubernetes, observability tools (OTEL, Datadog), and shared libraries.
• Own data infrastructure, including schema, storage, and access patterns for investigation traces and agent trajectories.
• Manage connectivity layers, including MCP gateways, OAuth, credential management, and integration catalogs.
• Drive platform acceleration to maximize engineering productivity.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in platform, infrastructure, or backend engineering.
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience operating production services on Kubernetes.
• Strong fundamentals in service-oriented architectures, networking, and systems design.
• Ability to take ambiguous goals from prototype to production.
• Experience using AI tools aggressively in engineering workflows.
• Ability to work in-person from the New York office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MCP, OAuth, API gateways, or multi-tenant integration platforms.
• Experience with modern observability (OTEL, distributed tracing) and SRE best practices.
• Experience building internal admin or developer tooling.
• Experience working on agent or LLM systems (context management, tool use, sandboxing).
