Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud solutions and manage hybrid-cloud environments to support high-performance trading systems
• Automate infrastructure management and development pipelines using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitLab
• Provision, configure, and monitor technologies such as Kubernetes (EKS and on-premise), Spark, and Kafka
• Evaluate proposed solution architectures and provide technical recommendations
• Ensure cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) are leveraged following industry best practices
• Monitor systems, clusters, and cloud deployments to detect errors and optimize performance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or DevOps roles
• Deep experience deploying, operating, and scaling production Kubernetes platforms, including Amazon EKS
• Advanced proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Strong Linux systems administration and troubleshooting skills in distributed production environments
• Proficiency in automation and scripting with Python or Bash

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience with cloud-native data services such as Amazon RDS, Aurora, Redshift, or DynamoDB
• Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
