Platform Analytics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Explore and analyze user behavior, performance trends, and key metrics
• Identify anomalies, patterns, and opportunities within datasets
• Build and maintain dashboards and automated reports
• Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations for product and operational improvements
• Help define and refine business and customer experience KPIs
• Document analyses, methodologies, and assumptions
• Contribute to modeling tasks and structured experiments

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in analytics, data, or operations
• Strong SQL skills for querying and exploring datasets
• Ability to write basic Python scripts for data manipulation and automation
• Experience with modern data stacks (e.g., Snowflake/BigQuery, dbt, Git)
• Analytical curiosity and structured problem-solving approach
• Strong communication skills for explaining insights visually and clearly

Preferred Qualifications

• STEM degree (Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Economics)
• Experience with BI or visualization tools like Metabase or Looker
• Familiarity with dbt for data modeling and transformations
• Exposure to fraud, financial, or product analytics
• Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese
