Plate Product Assembler

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, paint, and package Plate Heat Exchangers for shipment
• Interpret drawings, checklists, specifications, and procedures used in component fabrication
• Rig and operate cranes, forklifts, and handcarts to move and position parts or units
• Verify material accuracy (quality, type, and quantity) and maintain material traceability
• Unload carriers, uncrate materials, and enter information into databases via scanners or computers
• Ensure unit and part cleanliness per specifications prior to shipment
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with all technical documents and quality standards
• Notify supervisors immediately of any machine malfunctions, quality issues, or safety concerns

Requirements

• Experience in heavy manufacturing assembly
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of various types of equipment, machines, tools, fixtures, and instruments
• Ability to operate a crane and forklift
