Plastics Technologist (Molded Parts Specialist)

Responsibilities

• Set up tools and configure systems considering first and last part approval
• Ensure quality requirements and economic efficiency
• Clean and maintain production systems
• Set up and troubleshoot automation lines
• Optimize processes within defined tolerances
• Analyze and resolve manufacturing problems and injection processes
• Create initial samples and maintain process documentation
• Manage granulate changes and documentation
• Perform machine fault elimination and tool problem logging
• Support ongoing production and employee instruction

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a Process Mechanic for Plastics and Rubber Technology or equivalent
• Experience in injection molding or rotary table technology preferred
• Knowledge of machine control, robotics, and handling (e.g., Biegema)
• Experience with CNC-controlled machines and quality standards
• Ability to work in a 3-shift rotation
• High level of commitment and flexibility
