Plastics Lead - Prime Units

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities for the 3rd shift, including troubleshooting equipment and maintaining smooth production flow.
• Coordinate work assignments and provide on-the-job guidance and training to employees to meet department schedules.
• Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring all work and parts meet required specifications.
• Perform product setups, including molds, fixtures, automation, and color changes.
• Monitor equipment performance, perform preventative maintenance, and notify management of necessary repairs.
• Manage material availability by initiating requisitions for supplies and maintaining the material management system.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and adhere to all safety policies and housekeeping standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6 months to 1 year of related manufacturing experience or training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of manufacturing software and order processing systems.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, safety rules, and maintenance instructions in English.
• Ability to work a 3rd shift schedule (Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) and overtime as requested.
