Plastics Lead

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities for the 2nd shift to ensure efficient operations
• Troubleshoot machines and equipment to maintain smooth production flow and minimize downtime
• Coordinate work assignments and provide on-the-job instruction and training to team members
• Maintain quality and safety standards by monitoring equipment and inspecting parts
• Complete product setups, including molds, fixtures, automation, and color changes
• Manage material availability by initiating requisitions for necessary supplies and parts
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, orderly workstation

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 6 months to 1 year of related manufacturing experience or training
• Knowledge of manufacturing software and order processing systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
• Ability to work a 2nd shift schedule (Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) and overtime as requested
