Plastic Pipe Recycling Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate pelletizer machinery to convert regrind into pellets
• Consistently operate a forklift to move materials
• Unload regrind boxes into the pelletizer and stage finished pellet boxes
• Follow all company-standard and position-specific safety requirements
• Report any unsafe working conditions or broken equipment immediately
• Comply with all company policies and procedures

Requirements

• 1 year of manufacturing experience
• Proven experience operating a forklift
• Proven experience as a machine operator
• Ability to recognize colors
• Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with loads over 100 pounds using a crane or forklift
• Ability to stand for up to 12-hour shifts in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of extrusion machine operator experience
• Working knowledge of extruders, printers, reelers, and quality control standards
