Plasmid Maxiprep Associate Scientist

Responsibilities

• Support daily plasmid Maxiprep production activities including transformation, clone selection, and purification
• Ensure production activities comply with SOPs, quality standards, and safety requirements
• Monitor production schedules and coordinate with QC, Logistics, and Supply Chain
• Provide technical guidance and on-the-job support to team members
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Utilize Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to investigate production issues

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or Genetics
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese (written and verbal)
• Strong understanding of plasmid production processes and laboratory operations
• Ability to work on-site in Piscataway, NJ

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in plasmid Maxiprep production and manufacturing operations
• Knowledge of fermentation, harvesting, and endotoxin reduction processes
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Operational Excellence
• Experience working in global U.S.–China collaboration teams
