About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate and inspect flame spray and plasma spray processes to ensure parts meet aerospace manufacturing standards
- Manufacture and test parts according to engineering and customer specifications
- Maintain accurate and reliable documentation and part identification per planning specifications
- Remove burrs, sharp edges, and tool marks from machined parts to meet blueprint requirements
- Perform routine maintenance on operated machines and equipment
- Clean and organize the cellular manufacturing work area to maintain established standards
- Communicate shift change requirements to ensure seamless team transitions
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in Flame Spray or Plasma Spray processes
- Ability to read, understand, and correctly interpret basic blueprint drawings
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs from floor to waist
- Ability to push or pull weights of up to 60 lbs
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if required
