Plasma Center Screener/Phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and answer phones while ensuring the safety of donors and the team
• Screen new and repeat donors by taking and recording vital signs and finger stick results
• Use the Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records
• Coordinate donor compensation and manage donor documentation
• Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement within center processes
• Support plasma center operations through phlebotomy and donor support

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for the entire work shift
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Fine motor coordination and depth perception
• Ability to wear gloves for prolonged periods due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 or more years of experience in a customer-facing or patient-facing role
