Plasma Center Nurse- RN

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility through medical history interviews, physical examinations, and blood testing review
• Manage donor adverse events and medical emergencies according to established SOPs
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable findings in coordination with the Center Physician
• Support center operations including Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs
• Manage employee incidents and follow environmental, health, and safety (EHS) guidance
• Act as a Pandemic Coordinator if authorized by EHS to support local community investigations

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA) license in the state of assignment
• High school diploma or equivalent, including completion of a recognized nursing program
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience
• Current CPR and AED certification
• Basic IV therapy certification as required by state licensure
