Plasma Center Nurse- RN

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility through medical history interviews, physical examinations, and blood testing
• Manage donor adverse events and evaluate reactions according to established SOPs
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable findings
• Support center operations by following guidance from Medical Affairs and the Center Physician
• Manage employee incidents and support environmental, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives
• Assist with vaccination programs and potentially serve as a Pandemic Coordinator

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA) license
• High school diploma or equivalent, including a recognized nursing program graduate degree
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience
• Current CPR and AED certification
• Basic IV therapy certification per state requirements
