Plasma Center Nurse- RN

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility through medical history interviews, physical examinations, and blood testing review
• Manage donor adverse events and medical emergencies according to established SOPs
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable findings
• Provide center-level support for environmental, health, and safety (EHS) protocols
• Support employee vaccination programs and manage employee incidents
• Collaborate with the Center Physician and Medical Affairs on technical and medical issues

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, including a graduate equivalent of a recognized nursing program
• Current license or certification as a Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
• Valid state certification for basic IV therapy
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience
