About the role
Responsibilities
- Determine donor eligibility through medical history interviews, physical examinations, and blood testing review
- Manage donor adverse events and evaluate reactions according to established SOPs
- Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable findings
- Provide medical support for center operations under the guidance of the Center Physician and Center Manager
- Support employee health programs, including Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccinations
- Manage employee incidents and support environmental, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, including a graduate equivalent of a recognized nursing program
- Current state licensure or certification as a Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
- Fulfillment of state requirements for basic IV therapy
- Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting
