Plasma Center Nurse RN, LPN, or EMT-P

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility through medical history interviews, physical examinations, and blood testing review
• Manage donor adverse events and evaluate reactions according to established SOPs
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable findings
• Provide medical support for center operations under the guidance of the Center Physician and Center Manager
• Support employee health programs, including Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccinations
• Manage employee incidents and support environmental, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, including a graduate equivalent of a recognized nursing program
• Current state licensure or certification as a Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
• Fulfillment of state requirements for basic IV therapy
• Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting
