Plasma Center Nurse - LPN

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility through medical history interviews, physical examinations, and blood testing reviews
• Manage donor adverse events and evaluate reactions according to established SOPs
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable findings in coordination with the Center Physician
• Support center operations by following guidance from Medical Affairs and managing environmental, health, and safety (EHS) protocols
• Assist with employee vaccination programs and manage employee incidents in accordance with occupational health guidelines

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, including completion of a recognized nursing program
• Current LPN or LVN license in the state of assignment
• Current CPR and AED certification
• Basic IV therapy certification as required by state licensure
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience
