About the role
Responsibilities
- Determine donor eligibility through medical history interviews, physical examinations, and blood testing reviews
- Manage donor adverse events and medical emergencies according to established SOPs
- Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable findings
- Support vaccination programs and manage employee incidents in coordination with occupational health
- Provide center-level support for environmental, health, and safety (EHS) protocols
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current EMT-Paramedic, AEMT, or EMT-I license or certification in the state of assignment
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
- Basic IV therapy certification (meeting state requirements)
- Two years of clinical or hospital experience
