Plant Wide Utility

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and adjust manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal operation
• Utilize computer systems to input and record data regarding safety, sanitation, and maintenance
• Perform manual tasks including weighing, bagging, packing, labeling, and storing products
• Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, skid steers, and conveyors for loading and unloading bulk materials
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment through regular sweeping and sanitizing
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding equipment operation, safety concerns, and product quality
• Adhere to all safety, environmental compliance, and food quality standards

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds occasionally and 40 pounds frequently
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned environment with exposure to dust, odors, and varying temperatures
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk up to two miles during a workday
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
• Experience in a military environment
