Plant Training Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Deliver training to US Manufacturing Operations, focusing on procedural improvements and operational efficiency
• Train incoming employees on current procedures and document training status using organized record-keeping practices
• Update training documents to address mechanical errors, safety issues, or operating inefficiencies
• Interface with cross-functional departments to drive training effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and standard operating procedures
• Notify management of any discrepancies to maintain high training standards and operational safety

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of experience in medical device manufacturing or a cGMP regulated industry
• Ability to present training course material to individuals and groups effectively
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical ability
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing documents including blueprints, schematics, and quality documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a clean room environment
• Experience with automated equipment, Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), or discrete component assembly
• Familiarity with manufacturing instrumentation such as micrometers, calipers, and video microscopes
• Experience with technologies like laser welding, heat staking, or ultrasonic welding
• Experience in a start-up production environment
