Plant Technician

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities and surveillance of Oil and Cryo gas treating operations
• Perform surveillance of pumps, compressors, heaters, and towers, including taking readings
• Execute lock out tag outs, start and stop equipment, and strap tanks and vessels
• Load and unload transport trucks and operate forklifts and man lifts around the plant
• Take and analyze hydrocarbon samples
• Maintain safety authorization, isolate process equipment for maintenance, and keep detailed work logs
• Perform general housekeeping and facility maintenance
• Work a 14 on 14 off schedule (12-hour day and night shifts)

Requirements

• Strong safety culture and commitment to operational safety
• Troubleshooting skills for plant equipment
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn new processes, procedures, and the WMS permit to work system

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in oil and gas operations
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, OneNote, Excel, and Outlook
