Plant Supply Chain Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership at the plant level for supply chain topics including customer service, demand management, warehousing, and logistics costs
• Mentor and coach team members across planning, warehouse, and SAP functions
• Drive the implementation of site supply chain action plans and continuously improve material and information flows
• Ensure smooth collaboration with internal stakeholders such as purchasing, production, finance, and HR, as well as external suppliers and clients
• Manage Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements, ensuring the team is trained in and respects Quality, Safety, and Environment standards
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators including on-time delivery, inventory control, and SAP structural utilization

Requirements

• BS or MSc in Supply Chain Management
• 10+ years of relevant manufacturing experience, specifically in roles with Planning and Warehouse leadership
• Proven experience building integrated supply chain organizations
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to build performing organizational structures
• Fluency in both English and Japanese (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Proficiency in SAP (at least one of the following modules: MM, PP, SD, or WM)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising major SAP projects related to MRP or production planning
• Bi-cultural profile or experience working in foreign companies/overseas environments
