Plant Supplier Quality

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain a Quality Management System in compliance with Brose Group standards.
• Ensure adequate quality processes and systemic controls are maintained at the supplier end.
• Drive supplier performance and customer satisfaction through continual improvement of component quality.
• Manage supplier relations to achieve cost-effective quality and recover justifiable costs from suppliers.
• Lead supplier quality issue resolution using 8D, PMP, and other problem-solving methodologies.
• Oversee supplier quality routines including incoming inspection, requalification audits, and claim management.
• Coordinate transparent reporting of KPIs to functional heads.
• Assure the quality of new ramp-up projects by leading all safe launch activities.

Requirements

• BE or DME in Mechanical, Automotive, or Production Engineering.
• 7-9 years of experience within the Automotive Industry.
• In-depth knowledge of IATF16949 and EMS14001 implementation.
• Certified VDA 6.3 Auditor.
• Hands-on experience with GD&T, CMM handling, and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in core quality tools: SPC, MSA, PFMEA, PPAP, and APQP.

Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma certification or equivalent expertise.
