Plant Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a cross-shift manufacturing team to meet production, quality, and customer requirements
• Drive daily operations by reinforcing company policies, safety standards, and continuous improvement practices
• Maximize equipment utilization, product yields, and on-time delivery through effective planning and real-time problem solving
• Communicate clearly through pre-shift meetings, coaching sessions, and one-on-one discussions
• Coordinate production schedules with leadership to optimize workflow and reduce costs
• Train, coach, evaluate, and document teammate performance while promoting skill development
• Maintain a strong presence on the production floor to monitor safety, quality, and team engagement
• Track shift performance metrics and develop action plans to improve productivity and operational efficiency
• Partner with engineering and maintenance to identify and resolve processing issues

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach performance and lead by example
• Excellent communication, business writing, and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in MS Office with general computer literacy
• Demonstrated safety awareness and sound decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience
• SAP experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills
