Plant Quality Engineer II (Gage Planner)

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering prints and measurement tools using GD&T
• Lead 8D activities and implement permanent corrective actions for internal and external issues
• Develop methodologies and templates for problem-solving based on customer requirements
• Support cross-functional working groups to drive corrective actions and prevent failures
• Manage the development and implementation of test and inspection systems
• Collaborate with Customer and Supplier Quality Engineers in direct discussions with stakeholders
• Support early-stage projects to avoid and prevent failure occurrences

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 3-4 years of professional experience (automotive industry experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and engineering design principles
• Experience working with engineering change systems
• Proven analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to interface effectively with cross-functional teams and management levels
