Plant Operator

Responsibilities

• Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are strictly adhered to
• Follow the production schedule to maintain and drive plant performance
• Accurately and detailedly record information and complete all required documentation
• Report any deviations, inaccuracies, or quality concerns to Production Managers
• Maintain hygiene standards in respective work areas
• Liaise effectively with team members and engineers regarding breakdowns or technical issues
• Manage smooth changeovers and handovers between shifts to minimize plant stoppages

Requirements

• FLT trained
• Previous experience working in a production environment
• Strong health and safety awareness
• High level of quality focus and attention to detail
• Proficiency in IT skills, including the ability to navigate multiple VDU screens
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate information effectively
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure with a sense of urgency
• A continuous improvement and "can-do" mindset
