About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are strictly adhered to
- Follow the production schedule to maintain and drive plant performance
- Accurately and detailedly record information and complete all required documentation
- Report any deviations, inaccuracies, or quality concerns to Production Managers
- Maintain hygiene standards in respective work areas
- Liaise effectively with team members and engineers regarding breakdowns or technical issues
- Manage smooth changeovers and handovers between shifts to minimize plant stoppages
Requirements
- FLT trained
- Previous experience working in a production environment
- Strong health and safety awareness
- High level of quality focus and attention to detail
- Proficiency in IT skills, including the ability to navigate multiple VDU screens
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate information effectively
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure with a sense of urgency
- A continuous improvement and "can-do" mindset
