Plant Operator

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance and inspections according to the weekly maintenance program
• Generate work order reports for all activities attended to in the plant
• Follow up on the execution of critical findings identified during preventive equipment maintenance
• Monitor and record equipment temperatures in the milling area
• Execute the autonomous maintenance program
• Report signs of equipment failure, such as leaks, spills, or improper operation
• Provide support for production area requests
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area after completing maintenance activities
• Respond to unforeseen mechanical failures in plant equipment during production processes

Requirements

• Completed technical degree in maintenance mechanics, electromechanics, or a related field
• 1 or more years of work experience in industrial maintenance
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance for conveyor belts, mills, bucket elevators, material dosifiers, chain conveyors, and dust collectors
• Knowledge of gearmotors and electrovalves
