Plant Operator

Responsibilities

• Safely and reliably transfer bulk lubricant products within the Richmond Lubricants Plant Packaging Department.
• Execute filling orders using manual and automatic controls on multiple filling lines.
• Ensure packaged product quality and traceability through line sampling, weight checks, and printer operation.
• Manually or mechanically move incoming package components and outgoing packaged products.
• Inspect incoming packaging components for stock accuracy and quality.
• Perform administrative duties including stock counting and reporting of damaged goods.
• Maintain filling line housekeeping and perform daily equipment checks.
• Adhere to Chevron Safe Work Practices and participate in Operational Excellence (OE) programs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of prior operations experience.
• Valid CA driver’s license.
• Experience with forklift operation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in packaging or warehousing operations.
• Associate degree or higher.
• Higher technical or secondary technical education.
