About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operational functions for mining and mineral processing facilities to ensure peak performance.
  • Monitor operating conditions of mobile mining units, screeners, and water treatment facilities via computer interface and regular inspections.
  • Perform process equipment troubleshooting, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance.
  • Record accurate product, process, and safety data to maintain plant performance.
  • Act as a safety leader by identifying opportunities to improve mine safety and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and support overall mining and mineral processing needs.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic math ability.
  • Ability to read and comprehend detailed specifications and computer graphical user interfaces.
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
  • Physical stamina for heavy manual labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and climb ladders or stairs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a processing plant.
