Plant Operations Controller

Responsibilities

• Analyze detailed deviations in unit variable costs, price, and efficiency across production processes.
• Monitor energy cost deviations, including price per kWh and efficiency (kWh/ton) of cement produced.
• Evaluate bag cost deviations by analyzing volume, price, and supplier efficiency.
• Support the analysis of KPIs presented in operational reports.
• Provide support for the financial planning of plant operating costs.
• Evaluate the feasibility of new investment projects through CAPEX profitability analysis.
• Coordinate and follow up on long-term financial projections, forecasts, budgets, and plans.

Requirements

• Degree in Public Accounting (Contador Público Titulado).
• 3+ years of experience in production costs within the cement or manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in deviation analysis, CAPEX control, and financial forecasting.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using Oracle Cloud.
• Ability to create executive presentations.
• Availability to travel to different plants (SLP, Veracruz, and Morelos).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance.
• Proficiency in English.
