Plant Modifications Proposal Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the lifecycle management of Plant Modification Proposals (PMPs), from initiation and authoring through to implementation and closeout.
• Provide leadership and direction to PMP Managers and support personnel, ensuring alignment with organizational governance and safety requirements.
• Ensure all modifications comply with Site Licence Conditions and specific regulatory requirements (SLP 1.02.14).
• Manage stakeholder engagement by interfacing with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Project Managers, Construction Teams, and Operations.
• Oversee PMP tracking, progress monitoring, and reporting against key milestones.
• Integrate PMP activities into the P6 schedule and lead weekly and monthly planning and governance meetings.
• Identify and escalate risks related to safety case implications, environmental impacts, and design intent.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in PMP management and plant modification lifecycle management.
• Strong knowledge of PMP processes, governance, and compliance within a nuclear or highly regulated environment.
• Proven leadership and team coordination capabilities.
• Competence in using planning tools, specifically P6.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience presenting at committees.
• Ability to interpret complex safety case and engineering requirements.
• Completion of relevant PMP-related training and awareness courses (e.g., PMP Awareness, Management & Categorisation, Environmental Awareness, and COMAH Awareness).
