About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive significant and sustainable improvements in on-time delivery, service levels, and lead times
- Develop and execute manufacturing strategies that support the division’s market-driven business goals
- Lead regular strategy deployment and KPI reviews to ensure attainment of results and strategic priorities
- Implement safety and industrial hygiene programs to minimize workplace injuries and illnesses
- Drive a continuous improvement culture to achieve breakthrough performance in quality, delivery, cost, and growth
- Build and evolve the organizational structure to ensure talent development and engagement across all levels
- Manage cycle time and working capital through flexible and lean manufacturing processes
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, R&D, Finance, and Supply Chain
- Play an active role in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of operations leadership experience with a track record of performance improvement in manufacturing
- Proven experience in lean culture development and lean tool implementation
- Expertise in supply chain and inventory management
- Working knowledge of OSHA guidelines, environmental regulations, and EHSMS
- Experience in metal fabrication, finishing/machining, and assembly is preferred
