Responsibilities

• Own daily production on the floor to hit weekly build plans and maintain takt time
• Lead the full production team, including production managers, area managers, and leads
• Run the daily management system including morning huddles and visual management
• Drive throughput and improve labor efficiency by addressing low-performing processes
• Own in-process and line checks to ensure quality and catch defects
• Lead daily safety routines and build a culture of safety on the floor
• Recruit, onboard, and develop builders, leads, and technicians
• Help stand up the Billerica facility, including floor layout and work cell design
• Partner with internal factory software teams as a power user and requirements partner
• Manage floor performance through data and continuous improvement practices

Requirements

• 7+ years in manufacturing operations with experience running a production floor through a ramp or facility launch
• Experience managing direct labor
• Proven track record of building supervision structures and daily operating systems from the ground up
• Strong people leadership skills with experience growing technicians into leaders
• Comfort with high-mix, project-based production environments
• Strong data orientation and comfort in technology-forward factory settings
• Ability to work hands-on on the production floor

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience scaling production from low rate to high volume
• Background in construction, modular, or high-variability production
• Familiarity with Lean and TWI methodologies
• Experience partnering with in-house software or MES teams
• Experience managing the prototype-to-production transition
