Plant Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage daily plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics to ensure adherence to customer specifications
• Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations while promoting a culture of accountability
• Oversee quality control systems to meet automotive industry standards, specifically IATF 16949 and ISO 14001
• Implement continuous improvement programs, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, to drive efficiency and cost savings
• Monitor key performance indicators such as throughput, scrap rates, and downtime
• Lead, coach, and guide the development of plant staff to achieve performance and safety goals
• Serve as the primary contact for customer audits and technical inquiries to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience managing plant operations and leading large teams
• Proven experience within chemical manufacturing environments
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards
