Plant Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage Plant Production, Maintenance, Tooling, and Material Handling departments
• Champion plant safety programs and lead root cause corrective action measures
• Build and monitor production schedules aligned with customer demand
• Impact plant OEE metrics, productivity, and efficiency
• Manage shipping, receiving, inventory management, and cycle counts
• Oversee equipment installations and facility layout projects
• Audit compliance with standard work instructions and process control plans
• Evaluate staffing levels and oversee professional development of supervisors and labor
• Implement 6S, visual factory tools, and Lean Manufacturing techniques
• Manage plant P&L, including variable labor and operating expenses
• Promote continuous improvement through Kaizen programs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a technical field
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Background in metal stamping and metal fabrication preferred
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
• Experience managing P&L and financial performance
• Experience maintaining quality systems (ISO 9001:2015 preferred)
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP reporting
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
