Plant Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct site manufacturing, technical, and engineering operations in accordance with company objectives.
• Ensure the application of world-class Health & Safety standards with a focus on achieving zero accidents.
• Maximise operational efficiencies regarding labour and material costs to meet planned output and specifications.
• Drive, deliver, and monitor Continuous Improvement initiatives to create a culture of excellence.
• Manage and control the site operational financial budget and develop a rolling three-year capital expenditure plan.
• Develop and implement site strategies to sustain a world-class operations environment.
• Lead, develop, coach, and engage the Site Management Team.
• Negotiate wage reviews with the Trade Union and maintain excellent employee relations.
• Ensure full compliance with all company-wide quality policies, procedures, and legislation.

Requirements

• University Degree (preferably at Masters level) in a related business subject.
• Proven financial and budgetary understanding with strong commercial acumen.
• Essential experience working within an automated manufacturing environment.
• Essential experience working within a trade union site.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a high-paced, pressurized environment.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
