About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead operations at the Botanical Extract Plant in Lewisville, TX, driving performance, innovation, and excellence.
- Establish and champion a plant culture centered on safety, teamwork, accountability, and responsiveness.
- Manage central plant functions including manufacturing, HSE&S, quality control, logistics, and maintenance/engineering.
- Oversee expense and capital budgets while directing and developing the site leadership team.
- Collaborate with Process Technology, Supply Chain, and Procurement to introduce new products and improve processes.
- Ensure compliance with Lubrizol systems and standards regarding HSE&S, operations, HR, and finance.
- Lead talent management, employee development, and constructive employee relations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 7+ years of manufacturing experience, including site management responsibility.
- Proven experience directing plant operations and developing manufacturing teams.
- Knowledge of batch and continuous chemical processing.
- Proficiency in MS Office and a solid understanding of SAP systems.
- Ability to work effectively within a matrix organization.
- Strong communication, networking, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences.
- Process Safety Management (PSM) experience.
- Supply Chain experience.
