Plant Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead operations at the Botanical Extract Plant in Lewisville, TX, driving performance, innovation, and excellence.
• Establish and champion a plant culture centered on safety, teamwork, accountability, and responsiveness.
• Manage central plant functions including manufacturing, HSE&S, quality control, logistics, and maintenance/engineering.
• Oversee expense and capital budgets while directing and developing the site leadership team.
• Collaborate with Process Technology, Supply Chain, and Procurement to introduce new products and improve processes.
• Ensure compliance with Lubrizol systems and standards regarding HSE&S, operations, HR, and finance.
• Lead talent management, employee development, and constructive employee relations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 7+ years of manufacturing experience, including site management responsibility.
• Proven experience directing plant operations and developing manufacturing teams.
• Knowledge of batch and continuous chemical processing.
• Proficiency in MS Office and a solid understanding of SAP systems.
• Ability to work effectively within a matrix organization.
• Strong communication, networking, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences.
• Process Safety Management (PSM) experience.
• Supply Chain experience.
