About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the Louisville manufacturing facility, overseeing safety, quality, delivery, cost, and continuous improvement for TempRite and Vycar specialty chemical products.
- Exemplify a culture where safety is a core value, modeling and coaching appropriate behaviors to ensure safety is the first consideration.
- Provide leadership for operational excellence programs, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions.
- Manage site central functions including safety, quality, manufacturing, logistics, procurement, maintenance, capital engineering, and finance.
- Oversee talent management, employee development, and promote constructive employee relations.
- Collaborate with Corporate Leadership, marketing, sales, and process technology teams to support new product development, scale-up, and product transfers.
- Ensure site compliance with all regulatory requirements and alignment between plant goals and business strategies.
Requirements
- BS Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- 12+ years of experience in Chemical Manufacturing.
- 8+ years of experience managing teams.
- Proven experience with Process Safety Management (PSM).
- Ability to make decisions amidst ambiguity or incomplete information.
- Strong technical presentation skills for diverse audiences.
