Plant Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive safety, operational excellence, and financial performance across all plant functions including machining, assembly, and warehousing.
• Establish clear goals and a compelling vision for the plant, equipping teams with the coaching and resources needed to excel.
• Translate business unit and supply chain strategies into measurable KPIs and ensure daily monitoring and action.
• Partner across functions such as HR, procurement, and product management to plan and deliver key projects.
• Build an engaged, inclusive, and high-performing culture rooted in safety and quality.
• Lead transformational change and continuous improvement initiatives by applying Lean principles.
• Oversee maintenance, facilities, and manufacturing engineering, including capital projects and facility upgrades.
• Manage the annual operating plan in alignment with business financial forecasts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Administration (Master’s preferred).
• 7–10+ years of operations experience in materials management, machining, assembly, or quality.
• 5+ years of direct plant management experience in a multi-product industrial or automotive manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in Lean principles and financial/operational execution.
• Demonstrated success in leading materials transformation and change management.
• Strong skills in project management, inventory management, and team development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP implementation (Oracle ERP preferred).
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• APICS or ISO certifications.
• Direct experience in machining environments.
